Duplin County Schools Elementary School Battle of the Books competition was held March 18th at Ed Emory Auditorium. Eight schools battled each other two at a time for 28 rounds of quiz bowl style action. The team with the highest cumulative points was named the winner.
On Monday March 14th, the Thelma Dingus Bryant Library in Wallace held a Pi Day pie baking contest. This was the fourth Pi Day Bake-Off because there was not one last year because of COVID.
